About.

Aroa is a social entrepreneur passionate about developing and supporting scalable solutions to the climate crisis that we’re facing today. She is the co-founder of Trace Planet and Trace Collective, two organisations that leverage the immense power and reach of the fashion industry to accelerate the transition to regenerative practices in agricultural systems across Europe.

Prior, Aroa was Global Partnerships Manager for Ashoka, the world’s largest network of systems-changing social entrepreneurs. During her 6 years there, she supported dozens of entrepreneurs in scaling their impact and worked with multinational companies to help them develop impact strategies that aligned with their business goals. Her time at Ashoka gave her a nuanced understanding of how social change comes about, and the opportunity to design and lead projects such as Accelerating Healthcare Access, Ashoka’s global partnership with Philips Foundation.

Aroa was named as one of Euclid’s Top 100 Women in Social Entrepreneurship in Europe and as one of the 111 Young Leaders who will shape the future of Spain by Nova Talent. Her work has been featured in national radio in Spain and in publications such as Forbes and Emprendedores. For the past 3 years, Aroa served on Board of Abney Park Trust, a nature reserve and woodland memorial park that plays a critical role in providing the local community with access to the park’s rich wildlife, biodiversity and cultural heritage.

Aroa received two BAs from Comillas Pontifical University in Spain and has a Masters in Ecological Humanities, Sustainability and Ecosocial Transitions. She lives in London with her family and loves adventure sports and spending time in nature.
